About the Project
CEFTA Week is an annual event featuring promotional activities, panel discussions, roundtables and high-level meetings, marking the conclusion of each Chairmanship year. In December 2021 Skopje hosted CEFTA Week as part of North Macedonia’s Chairmanship, following previous editions led by Albania (2019) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (2020).
The event brought together a diverse audience, including public institutions, business leaders, academia and international partners, fostering multi-stakeholder dialogue on regional trade and economic cooperation.
For CEFTA Week 2021, the focus was on highlighting key achievements, reinforcing political commitment to regional integration and ensuring broad public awareness through media and communication strategies.
As the agency who organized the event, we were responsible for the full event execution, communication strategy and media relations.

Challenges
- Organizing a high-level international conference with 120 participants, including policymakers, business leaders and international institutions.
- Ensuring a smooth hybrid format with on-site and Zoom participation for global attendees.
- Crafting a CEFTA communication strategy and action plan that aligned with regional priorities.
- Defining the key message of the conference to effectively communicate CEFTA’s role, achievements and commitments.
- Raising awareness of CEFTA’s work and maximizing media coverage across traditional and digital platforms.
- Coordinating press conferences, media briefings and PR activities to engage regional and international media outlets.
- Designing and producing printed materials, ensuring professional branding for CEFTA Week.
- Capturing the event through video production, including a wrap-up video summarizing key moments and messages.
Approach
- Successfully planned and executed the CEFTA Week 2021 Conference at Hotel Limak, Skopje.
- Managed all technical aspects, including Zoom integration for remote participation.
- Ensured smooth coordination of panel discussions, roundtables and networking sessions.
- Developed and implemented a comprehensive CEFTA communication strategy and action plan.
- Defined key messages aligned with CEFTA’s priorities and annual achievements.
- Organized a press conference, ensuring media visibility and reinforcing CEFTA’s regional impact.
- Managed external communication efforts, including press releases, social media activities and media relations to amplify CEFTA Week’s key messages.
- Designed and produced printed materials, ensuring consistency with CEFTA’s brand identity.
- Created a wrap-up video, summarizing key moments, insights and takeaways from the event.
